Attempted Murder Investigation in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Warren County Sheriff's Deputies say a woman tried to kill a Bowling Green man on Walnut Creek Drive Tuesday night.

Deputies say the victim, Carl "Michael" Hobbs, 31, told them Twilight Pusgulian, 42, of Henderson, had been stalking him and confronted him with a handgun.

Hobbs says she fired a shot at him, but it hit his truck.

Deputies say Hobbs wrestled the gun away but Pusgulian then pulled out a knife.

After running away, she was found at a nearby apartment complex. She then tried to escape from a deputy's cruiser.

Pusgulian is now in the Warren County Regional Jail. She is charged with Attempted Murder, Stalking First Degree, Criminal Mischief Third Degree, Escape Third Degree, and Possession of a Hangun by a Convicted Felon.

The investigation continues.
