BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Bowling Green City Commission voted tonight to take legal action against the Downtown Redevelopment Authority, also known as the DRA.
It was a unanimous vote.
Mayor Bruce Wilkerson said the city chose to take legal action to maintain control of Circus Square Park and its associated parking.
City officials say after several attempts they were not able to come to an agreement with the DRA.
The city de-funded the organization about three years ago.
