Warren County Sheriff's Deputies say at 5:00 p.m. Saturday September 8, 62-year-old Charles Wilson of Bowling Green was traveling west on Plano Road on his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle, when he came upon a pickup that was stopped in the westbound traffic lane.
As Wilson attempted to avoid the stopped vehicle by braking and steering into oncoming traffic, he overturned his motorcycle on the roadway, was thrown off, and slid under an oncoming car.
Wilson was transported from the scene by ambulance to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Wilson was not wearing a helmet in this collision. No other persons involved were injured. Alcohol and drug involvement are not suspected.
