As Christmas nears, several charity organizations are getting presents together for those in need.
Barren River Area Safe Space stopped by a Toys-For-Tots pick-up location this morning.
The toys will be given to children staying in the BRASS shelters, and other families in need throughout the eight-county region.
BRASS Media Advocate, Ryan Braber says Toys-For-Tots provides the most Christmas presents to those they help.
"We really try to put everything that we have into this so we want to make sure that they have that great moment when they open something they didn't expect, a toy that they really wanted. It's just heartwarming to see that happen," Braber says.
BRASS serves more than 40 families each Christmas.
Braber says they want to provide all families with a Christmas they otherwise might not have had.
