UPDATED: All Clear Signal Given After Suspicious Package Found at Warren County Justice Center

UPDATED 8:17 PM -- After police arrested a northern Kentucky man taking a suspicious footlocker into the Warren County Justice Center, officials have now declared the Justice Center “OPEN”. Officials confirm nothing suspicious has been found and an "ALL CLEAR" signal has been given.

UPDATED 4:30 PM -- A Northern Kentucky man is in jail for bringing a suspicious box into the Warren County Justice Center.

Police arrested Glen Leonard, 69 of Covington, after a fight at the screening center in the Justice Center around 2:15 PM on Friday.

Warren County Sheriff's Office say he walked in with a large footlocker. When Court Security asked to inspect it, he declined and assaulted court security officers.

When x-rayed, they saw suspicious materials inside, and took the box outside for safety.

Leonard was in the Justice Center earlier this week and was escorted out, after a disturbance in the driver’s licensing division.

He is charged with Assault,Third Degree (Police Officer) and Resisting Arrest.

The investigation is still underway.

UPDATED 4:17pm -- The package is still being investigated but a suspect has been arrested.

BOWLING GREEN, KY (WBKO) -- Police are investigating a suspicious package left at the Warren County Justice Center in Bowling Green. We have a reporter on the way.

Officials say part of the building has been evacuated and the package is no longer inside.
