LOGAN COUNTY, Ky (WBKO) -- A Logan County bank is robbed at gunpoint, and police say the suspect is already behind bars.
Just before 10:00 Tuesday morning, police got a call about an armed robbery at the Lewisburg Bank in Lewisburg.
Police say an older white man walked up to a teller, showed a gun, and demanded money.
After getting the cash, he took off.
About an hour later, a Logan County Sheriff's Deputy saw a car and man matching the description of the suspect in the Colonial Inn parking lot in Russellville.
Police arrested Lawrence Freeman, 63, of Morgantown, after they found money from the bank and a handgun in his possession.
They also found out the car he was driving was stolen from Nashville.
Freeman was arrested on several charges, including robbery.
