Barren County Educator Enters Judge-Executive Race

Tarry's number-one priority is bringing more jobs to Barren County and he explained how to get that started.

GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) -- Bud Tarry officially announced his candidacy for the office of Barren County Judge-Executive Monday.

He did so in front of several people at the Barren County Government Center in downtown Glasgow.

He has a long record of service in education and transportation service.

Tarry's number-one priority is bringing more jobs to Barren County and he explained how to get that started.

First of all get everybody on the same page, all the elected officials, all the industrial recruitment people. Get them together, decide on a course of action and then move with it," said candidate for Barren County Judge-Executive Bud Tarry.

The race is already a crowded one and Tarry will have a primary with at least two other democrats, magistrate Chris Steward and Brian Scott Taylor.
