BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The snow from earlier this week has melted away and signs of spring have returned to lead us into baseball season.
The Hot Rods had its Spring Rev Up at the Bowling Green ballpark today.
Baseball fans were able to order season-ticket packages and become members of one of four new clubs, as well as get a tour to see the changes for this season, which kicks off in just 26 days.
"People are just excited for baseball. People are just excited for warm weather. I think the summer signifies kids are out of school, although they've been out for the last week. It's just a great time -- America's pastime. People are excited about the new food options here and we are too. So come out for BBQ, for Mexican and remember, Sundays are going to half-price ice cream sundaes," said Ben Hemmen, assistant general manager of the Hot Rods.
Opening night is set for Thursday, April 3rd when the Hot Rods will host the South Bend Silver Hawks.
