MERRILLVILLE, Ind (WBKO) -- The Bellarmine University Men's Basketball team was involved in a hit and run while traveling to a game in Wisconsin.

The university says just after 8:00 Wednesday night, a truck pulling a rental trailer on I-65 near Merrillville, Indiana lost control and clipped the front of the Bellarmine bus, knocking off the sideview mirror.

Thankfully no one was hurt, but the truck took off, and police classified it as a hit and run accident.

The team spent the night at a hotel, and they will continue to Kenosha, Wisconsin on a new bus on Thursday morning for their game that night at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
