Body Discovered In Lake

This morning the Larue County Sheriff's Office responded to a body discovered in a pond across from Larue County Middle School in Hodgenville.

The sheriff's office was able to cross reference the death with a recent missing persons case.

The body was identified as 43-year-old James Everett Martin.

Martin was reported missing last Saturday.

The body was removed by the coroner's office and sent to the medical examiner's office in Louisville for an autopsy to determine cause of death.
