Both Drivers In Russell County Crash Charged With DUI

 Troopers say Johnson left the scene and called 911 from his home, he was later arrested for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.

 

Police say both drivers involved in a crash in Russell County were drinking and driving.

Kentucky State Police say 24-year-old Tiffany Cox of Virginia was driving a Chevy westbound on KY 92 when she crashed into a Chevy pick up being driven eastbound by 36-year-old Daniel Johnson of Jamestown.

Both vehicles ended up off of the road.

Cox and her passenger 26-year-old Kayla Whitaker were both wearing their seat-belts but were transported to Russell County Hospital where they were treated and released.

Police say Cox has been charged with a DUI.
