BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- An auction on behalf of the city of Bowling Green could be your gain in more ways than one.
That's because not only do items, like cars or bikes, go to the winners of the online auction, the money also goes back into the city's general fund.
The online event began Monday and goes until July 21.
"The online auction has already started. You can go to www.govdeals.com and search for Bowling Green. You can see pictures of all the items. You can see descriptions of all the items. You can also see those items on our Facebook page as well," said Bowling Green Executive Assistant, Kim Lancaster.
The city said you don't have to live in Bowling Green to bid on an item, but if you win, you do have to come to town to pick it up.
