RC place enthusiasts put their flying skills to the test in speed and racing competitions.
It was all a part of the first ever Bluegrass World Cup hosted by SKYMAC.
Competitive RC plane events are a growing international sport that many are taking very seriously.
"Most people want to win. It is a very competitive event and so when you are home you team up with other flyers that like to do the same thing and you do indeed train for it," says Bill Lee.
This weekends competition featured more than 30 competitors, some traveling from as far away and Sweden and France.
