Bowling Green Man Arrested for Alleged Heroin Trafficking

A Bowling Green man is arrested for suspected heroin trafficking.

The Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force says Martez Devon Mitchell, 28, was arrested Tuesday night during a controlled buy.

Police say the arrest comes after six weeks of investigation and surveillance.

They also say this is the first arrest by DTF detectives for trafficking heroin in Bowling Green.

They say with the near epidemic rise in Louisville, Lexington, and northern Kentucky, they think this is the beginning of a trend in our area.

Mitchell was booked into the Warren County Regional Jail.
