The City of Bowling Green hopes you will be sporting red, white, and blue Saturday to honor our service men and women.
The Annual Bowling Green Veterans Parade will kick off at 10 a.m. from Sixth and College Street and march into downtown.
More than 300 units will be a part of the event that honors our service men and women as well as their families.
Parade officials have announced a special group will serve as grand marshals.
"Our Bowling Green, Warren County Military Liaison Board chose to have our grand marshal as military families. So we don't just have one grand marshal we are showing the love for all our families of military troops," says Parade Coordinator Bobbi Jo Sexton.
The military members and their families serving as grand marshals come from the 149th Bravo Company Brigade Support Battalion at the Kentucky National Guard.
