Bowling Green to Celebrate 200th Birthday This Year

Bowling Green will be celebrating its 200th birthday this year!

The celebration will take place on September 18th through 22nd.

Plans have been in the works since January.

One of the plans is the writing contest for fifth through eighth grade students. The topic will be "Why the students love Bowling Green." The winner will get $300.

There will also be ticket giveaways for the Kentucky Museum, the Historic RailPark and Train Museum, and Lost River Cave.
