Bowling Green Man Arrested After Stealing Truck

A Bowling Green man suspected of stealing a truck was able to lose deputies during a police chase, but it didn't take long before the law caught up with him.

Warren County Sheriffs Deputies arrested Carlos Hopper, 25.

They say he was a suspect in a truck that was stolen from Garrett Hollow Road on Friday, May 4th.

Smiths Grove police received a complaint that Hopper was with the truck at his ex-girlfriends where they were fighting.

When they arrived they say he took off. taking them on a high speed chase through the Transportation Park and North on US 31W.

He was able to get away but a short time later the stolen truck was located.

Hopper ran off on foot again but this time was arrested.

He now faces several charges including evading police.
