Boy, 15, Dies, Thrown Off ATV Into Tree In Crash

MURRAY, Ky. (AP) -- Kentucky State Police say a 15-year-old boy has died in an all-terrain vehicle crash.

The incident occurred Sunday evening and investigators said the youth received a mortal head injury when the ATV ran off a street and hit a tree. The boy was thrown forward and also struck the tree. He was taken to Calloway County Hospital, where he died.

KSP Trooper Michael Bennett investigated and noted the ATV was a 2000 Polaris Magnum
