Brandon Bradshaw Celebration of Life Memorial Service

Friends, family, and supporters gathered tonight to celebrate the life of Brandon Bradshaw, the man killed in an officer involved shooting in Bowling Green last week.

Hundreds gathered tonight to celebrate the life of the man who's influence reached so many children. His theater students took the stage in his honor.

When asked to describe Brandon Bradshaw most would say you just can't sum him up in one word.

"Goofy... ridiculous... amazing... awesome," said theater student Elizabeth Davenport.

"The goofiest person I have ever known, but those most kind hearted, compassionate, wonderful person," said friend Sarah Capito.

"He's the kind of guy that made every kid feel like his best friend," said theater student Noah Rudloff.

Andee Rudloff sensed that attitude when she met Brandon at her nephew's musical rehearsal,
and when she joined SkyPAC, she knew he'd be the perfect fit there too.

"The first person who came to mind as someone I wanted to be a part of my team at SkyPAC was Brandon Bradshaw," said SkyPAC Education and Visual Arts Director Andee Rudloff.

One friend says she hopes to be more like him when she becomes a choir director.

"Carry his love of theater music on and basically try to help any child I can in the way he would have," said Capito.

"I might do another theater, or I might stay here, and I might use the things Brandon taught me," said theater student Briana Crowder.

The students in a play Bradshaw was directing say the show must go on, because he wouldn't have had it any other way.

"We're just going to continue on doing what we're doing for him, because we know he wouldn't want us to stop what we're doing," said Davenport.

For those who wish to help the Bradshaw family, you can still donate to the Brandon Bradshaw Recovery Fund at any PNC Bank branch in Bowling Green.

There will be a funeral at Living Hope Baptist Church on Saturday morning at 10. It is also open to the public.
