UPDATE: Police Say Shooting Was Murder/Suicide in Green County

GREENSBURG, Ky. -- An 11-year-old juvenile, the son of Barry and Pamela Moore, was also at the residence but fled the scene and was not injured.

A .22 caliber rifle was also recovered at the scene.

Autopsies are scheduled for Saturday at the State Medical Examiner's office in Louisville.

GREENSBURG, Ky. -- Kentucky State Police say the shooting was a murder/suicide.

40-year-old Barry Moore shot and killed his ex-wife, 43-year-old Pamela Moore. The couple was divorced but still living together.

The shooting happened at a residence owned by 66-year-old Barbara Wright, located just behind the Moore’s residence.

Detectives believe that Barry Moore pursued Pamela Moore to the residence where he shot the victims.

Barbara Wright’s granddaughter, 22-year-old Ashley Wright, was at the residence and was also shot.

Barry Moore then turned the weapon on himself and took his own life.

Pamela Moore died at the scene and Barry Moore died later at the Green County Hospital.

Barbara and Ashley Wright are listed in critical condition at University Hospital in Louisville.

GREEN COUNTY, Ky. - Kentucky State Police are currently on the scene of a death investigation.

KSP dispatch received a call this morning from the Green County 911 center at approximately 10:35 AM CST.

A caller advised that there was a shooting at a residence on Ky Hwy 218 and that there were multiple victims.

Upon arrival, investigators learned that four people had been shot.

Two fatalities have been confirmed.
