Brides Compete to Find Wedding Band at Bridal Expo

The Kentucky Bridal Fest turned into the battle of the brides.
Six women preparing to walk down the aisle were chosen to participate in a cake dive.
Their goal was to find a wedding band baked within the cake.
The winner went home with a thousand dollars in prizes to help plan her wedding, but the winning bride-to-be says it was more about the recreation.
"It was really fun. My hands are covered in strawberry cake, but it smells good. It was a lot of fun just smashing the cake up," says cake dive winner, Amanda Smith, who's preparing for her October 26th wedding.
The Kentucky Bridal Expo was held Sunday only at the Sloan Convention Center.
