A Sunfish man is arrested after being linked to two recent burglaries.
The Edmonson County Sheriff's Office says the crime spree started last Saturday morning with a break-in at Eagle Express, where the suspect took a scratch-off lottery ticket box.
On Tuesday, the Junior Foods store on Kentucky 259 was burglarized and deputies say the suspect was trying to find the lottery tickets.
Law enforcement later discovered video surveillance of Jerry Basham, 31, cashing lottery tickets.
They also say a Junior Foods store in Bowling Green was burglarized.
With a search warrant, they say they found a bag of unscratched lottery tickets.
Basham was arrested for receiving stolen property over $500, possession of marijuana and unlawful access to a computer 1st degree.
Basham was lodged in the Hart County Jail.
