A very special art display was setup Thursday in Bowling Green.

A reception and art exhibit featured works from children across the area. The event recognized community members for their dedication to the organization and awarded them with art kits.

CASA says creating art is a teaching tool for children as they get older.

"We believe that art is a very good way for children to express their emotions otherwise they may not be able to verbalize. It gives them an opportunity to demonstrate their creativity it just opens door and avenues for communication," says Executive Director Will Constable.

CASA says they are always looking for more support and volunteers.
