Campbellsville Burglaries

The owner says fixtures inside the store were damaged, and an undetermined amount of cash was stolen.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (WBKO) -- Campbellsville Police are investigating two burglaries that occurred within half-a-mile of each other.

Officers responded to a convenience store burglary on South Central at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday.

The owner says fixtures inside the store were damaged, and an undetermined amount of cash was stolen.

We have surveillance pictures of the alleged thief. Police say he was picked up by a car in the parking lot of Campbellsville-Laundry and Cleaners.

Later Tuesday morning police discovered Puryear's Antiques, also on South Central was broken into. The owner says four large signs, two large thermometer signs, and several antique jugs were taken.
