Two local judges filed for statewide office Tuesday, while two other local men filed to run for office in Warren County.

Kentucky Supreme Court Chief Justice John Minton filed to run for re-election, as did Kentucky Court of Appeals Judge Kelly Thompson.

Here in Bowling Green, republican Ron Ford also filed Tuesday to run against incumbent democrat Jerry "Peanuts" Gaines for Warren County Sheriff.

And Bowling Green businessman, Doug Gorman, filed as a republican to run for County magistrate in district one, where "Doc" Kaelin has decided not to run for re-election.
