Cave City Proud Days This Weekend

By Lauren Forsythe |

Cave City Proud Days are this weekend!

Thousands of people are expected to be in Cave City today and tomorrow for the annual festival.

For the first time in almost a decade, the event will be held downtown.

Coordinator, Gary "Doc" Hogan says it's important to have it downtown to promote businesses who sell locally.

"People all the way from realty companies, to food companies, to people who actually fix food, to crafts company right here. Everything that we're promoting is 'Kentucky Proud'," Hogan says.

Tomorrow, there will be a port-a-potty race, and an Un-Woman Beauty Contest for the men.
