BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- A sinkhole was reported Monday just across town from the Corvette Plant sinkhole.
The hole is in a homeowner's yard, in the Beddington Park Neighborhood. It sits two feet from Cave Mill Road.
Today crews were working on clearing the area so it can be fixed.
"Our crews responded. We are in the process of mediating the sink hole. The steps we have to go through to do that is excavate down to competent rock, which is good solid rock, and then we build that back up with rock and Geo-textile fabric, which holds the soil above it.," said Jeff Lashlee the Public Works Director for the city of Bowling Green.
For the safety of the drivers and crews, that section of Cave Mill Road has been reduced down to one lane.
