DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- A year after Centre College hosted the 2012 vice presidential debate, memorabilia from the event is being sold by a fraternity to benefit the family members of three people killed at a Danville pawn shop last month.
Centre says Sigma Alpha Epsilon has raised nearly $3,000 for a memorial fund as part of campus fundraising efforts.
The school says it has released remaining debate memorabilia to the fraternity to sell and auction. The sales are being kicked off Friday night at the Campus Center, and remaining memorabilia will be available through early November. For information, call (859) 238-5748. Some items from the 2000 vice presidential debate at Centre are also available.
