BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce announced today a newly formed collaboration with two local non-profits.
KOBE Aluminum Automotive Products welcomed members of the Chamber in partnership with Goodwill Industries and the Housing Authority of Bowling Green to discuss the development of a workforce talent match program. These partnerships are designed to complement employer initiatives and provide additional opportunities for those seeking employment.
"They can get resume development help if they need it, and they can use our state-of-the-art computer lab where we have 10 computers, so they can job search all day if need-be. We can help them with online applications, we can help with mock-interviewing, and all of our services are free," T.J. Shockley Hunt said.
Bowling Green and Warren County continue to have strong economic development success with over $180 million in investments and 275 new jobs announced in the first half of 2014.
