Charles Copass walked into court showing no emotion, starring straight towards our camera, and eventually made a gesture.
In court Monday the judge ruled for pre-trial hearings to begin January 15, 2013. That date upset the Grandmother of Mahaney.
"I'm upset because they are going to keep dragging it out to where I won't be around to see it done," says Mahaney
Chelsey's Aunt, Lisa Frost, also wants this case done in a timely matter.
"As soon as possible I wanna see justice done. I wanna see him see whatever he has coming to him for what he has took away from this family," says Frost.
As the case continues Frost says each time she has come to court Copass has never shown emotion for what he is accused of.
"To me he doesn't, I don't think he even has feelings. I don't think he even has heart and knows what love truly is or what a family is," says Frost.
As the Mahaney family continues to heal there isn't a day the they don't remember Chelsey and her smile.
"Chelsey was my only grand daughter she was the love of my life that baby would have been my great grand baby . She lived with me, I raised her," says Mahaney.
The question that still remains with the Mahaney's is why was Chelsea with Copass they day of her murder.
"I have no idea. I just know her brother told me after I got home from paying the water bill she went over to J&L Mart to get ice cream," says Mahaney.
Commonwealth Attorney Clint Willis also requested Monday that Copass have no right to bail and that he refrain from contact with the victims.
Copass's bail is currently set at $1,015,000.
