BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Christmas parade was in downtown Bowling Green Sunday afternoon .
Parade-goers were wrapped in blankets and sipping hot chocolate to stay warm while they watched all the floats, bands and people in the parade.
WBKO spoke with several people who had never been to the parade before and said they had a blast getting into the Christmas spirit Sunday.
"I was born and raised here and as far as I can remember, I've never been. I saw on social media today that it was happening, so I decided I definitely wanted to come and experience it and see what the tradition was like," said Rebecca Graham at the parade.
The parade started at Main and College streets and ended at 6th Avenue and State Street.
