Police arrest a Greenville man after he allegedly stole more than $3,000 worth of cigarettes.
Police say it happened Friday at the Tobacco Shack on us Highway 431 in Beechmont.
A police report says Muhlenberg County Sheriff deputies received a call of a truck crashing into the store, the truck was reported as stolen.
When they got to the scene, they say they found 75 cartons of Marlboro cigarettes were taken, a value of $3,400.
Police say the evidence they got from the scene led them to arrest 42-year-old William Chris Daniel of Greenville.
Daniel is now in jail charged with 3rd degree burglary.
