BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Bowling Green City Commission passed a variety of measures Tuesday night.
Commissioners passed the second reading of a towing ordinance that requires proper signage in front of parking lots.
They also approved the budget for the Downtown Economic Development Authority and allocated money that's coming in from TIF funds.
"In the increment, the city gets all the taxes that came into place prior to the implementation of the TIF, which means we have a threshold at which everything meets. Then over and above that which is the increment, the city will receive 20% and 80% will go to fund the activities of the TIF," said Bowling Green Mayor Bruce Wilkerson.
The city commission will meet again on the first Tuesday in April.
Issues coming up later this year will include the budget for the city of Bowling Green.
