MANCHESTER, Ky. (AP) — An emergency management official in eastern Kentucky has died in an accident involving an all-terrain vehicle.
Clay County Sheriff Kevin Johnson told WLEX-TV that 54-year-old assistant emergency management director Jennings Johnson died Sunday evening. He said Johnson was riding an ATV uphill when the vehicle flipped over and pinned him underneath.
The sheriff says a neighbor found him and called for help. He was taken to University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, but later died.
