Cooler temperatures are heading to south central Kentucky, and some children will need help staying warm.
The Bowling Green Junior Woman's Club, the Bowling Green Police Department and Big "B" Cleaners have kicked off the 22nd Annual Coats for Kids donation drive.
They're accepting new or gently used coats for kids through high school.
"There is a need, because these kids are standing outside waiting for the bus every morning. They need coats, and we want to make sure every kid in Warren County has a coat this winter season," said Cayla Duncan, the chairperson.
They collected about 2,000 coats last year, and they're hoping for more this year.
You can drop off your donation at any of the following locations:
Bowling Green Police Department
