The community welcomed Warren County Schools Superintendent Rob Clayton at a reception this afternoon.
It was a chance for elected officials, members of the school board and staff and the general public to meet Clayton and his family.
"We wanted to pause for a few minutes and give our community members, as well as staff members, an opportunity to come meet him, meet his family and welcome him here to be with all of us," said Kathy Goff, assistant superintendent.
Clayton said he appreciated everyone who showed up.
"It's an honor to be here, certainly a privilege, I'm really excited to see what lies ahead for our kids and our school community," he said.
Clayton, who started his position as superintendent June 30, said he's been impressed with what he's seen so far in the schools.
