Cops Arrest 2 Ohio County Men on Drugs and Weapons Charges

Deputies say Lee is accused of transporting meth to a gang in Chicago to trade it for guns.

HARTFORD, KY (WBKO) -- The Ohio County Sheriff's Office says 42-year-old Joseph D. Lee of Cromwell and his landlord, 37-year-old Christopher H. Davis of Hartford, were arrested and booked into the Ohio County Detention Center.

Deputies say Lee is accused of transporting meth to a gang in Chicago to trade it for guns. They say he then sold the meth in Muhlenberg and Ohio counties.

The Ohio County Sheriff's K-9 helped deputies find meth, cash, and a firearm in Lee's home. Among his charges are trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Among Davis' charges are trafficking in a controlled substance, and selling or taking a firearm to a person prohibited from having one.

Additional arrests are possible.
