The National Corvette Museum received a $15,000 grant from state farm today to encourage safe teen driving.

This is the second year State Farm has donated money to the museum's Teen Driver's Safety Academy.

Corvette Museum Executive Director Wendell Strode says the program was initiated as a way to send out a message for safe driving among teens.

The grant was given to help the Teen Driver's Safety Academy grow.

"We want to keep our kids safe that's the bottom line. We want to keep our kids safe. We want to do everything we can to influence our kids remaining safe as they drive," says Ralph Dillihay, State Farm Agency Field Executive.

"It helps us to expand our driver's safety academy to include more things teen driver related," says Wendell Strode, Corvette Museum Executive Director.

State Farm donated nearly $3,000 more to the National Corvette Museum than last year.
