RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) -- Police say a central Kentucky man was arrested, after allegedly returning a printer to Walmart that contained a counterfeit bill.

The Richmond Register cited a statement from police, in reporting that 19-year-old Dennarius J. Barnett was charged on Thursday with criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Police said Barnett allegedly returned the printer to the retailer last month, and a store employee found a $20 counterfeit bill in it. When Barnett returned to the store on Thursday, police say employees called officers who interviewed Barnett before arresting him.

Police say he was taken to the Madison County Detention Center. It was unclear whether Barnett had an attorney.
