Couple Used Facebook to Solve Crime

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- A prosecutor said a Kentucky couple solved the mystery of who tried to steal their generator using Facebook and other sources of information -- but not the police.

Franklin County Commonwealth's Attorney Larry Cleveland told The State Journal (http://bit.ly/JS6PeA ) that the couple found 32-year-old Ronald Mullins of Berea and 32-year-old Robert Henry of Irvine by searching Facebook.

Mullins and Henry are charged with robbery and criminal mischief.

Cleveland said as the couple left the store April 9, they saw two men taking a generator out of the back of the truck. A scuffle ensued, Cleveland said, with the monogram of one man's shirt being ripped off and the food stamp card falling to the ground.

Jail records did not list an attorney for either man.
