Crime Dog Is Given Key to the City

"Law enforcement agencies from abroad were represented here today. McGruff is out! He is ready to make appearances and visits. He will be teaching children about crime prevention and all of those things in our community,” said Rob Barnett, Airport Manager.
 

BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- A new resident of Bowling Green was granted a key to the city today.
McGruff the crime dog was introduced today, as an iconic representative of South Central Kentucky's Crime Stoppers Division.
McGruff stepped off a Cessna Cardinal at the Bowling Green Warren County Regional Airport, greeting city and county officials, along with students from Foundation Christian Academy.
"Law enforcement agencies from abroad were represented here today. McGruff is out! He is ready to make appearances and visits. He will be teaching children about crime prevention and all of those things in our community,” said Rob Barnett, Airport Manager.
Crime Stoppers is an anonymous system, with efforts from the community that helps catch criminals.
