Crime Stoppers: Auto Theft

By Gene Birk |

Bowling Green Police say between 2:15 and 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, a vehicle was stolen from the 1300 block of Eastland Street.

The victim told police she parked her 2006 tan Ford Explorer in her driveway just after 2:00 p.m. But when she returned, it was gone.

The victim said she racked her Ford, and told police it was in the parking lot of the Pilot gas station in Franklin. But when Franklin police arrived, the Explorer wasn't there

Surveillance footage shows a white male wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. Police say he took some of the items from the Explorer and threw them in a trash can.
