Police say on Wednesday, February 15, police were called to the 400 block of Butler Way to check the welfare of a bleeding subject lying in the road.

The Bowling Green Police Department is investigating a hit and run collision.

Police say on Wednesday, February 15, police were called to the 400 block of Butler Way to check the welfare of a bleeding subject lying in the road.

When police arrived, they were able to determine a white male had been struck by a vehicle which had fled the scene.

A witness was able to tell police they observed a Buick Skylark, with a female driver, drive through a yard just prior to the man being seen lying in the road. The witness could not give a color description of the vehicle.
