Airport officials estimate the damages to exceed $9000.00 and want to point out, entering an airport’s property is a federal crime.

BOWLING GREEN KY (WBKO) -- On Sunday, May 25t, the Warren County Regional Airport contacted police, saying some of their property had been damaged.

Airport employees told police they believe someone crossed the fence and entered airport property during the overnight hours of Saturday May 24. Once on the property, the vandals destroyed or damaged at least nine taxiway lights and stole a sign with a large “A” printed on the face.

Airport officials estimate the damages to exceed $9000.00 and want to point out, entering an airport’s property is a federal crime.
