Crime Stoppers: Stockdale's Shoplifting

BOWLING GREEN, KY (WBKO ) -- Bowling Green Police say on Friday, March 21, a woman took several clothes into the dressing room of Stockdale's on Ken Bale Boulevard. Once inside, police say she took off the tags, put the items in her purse and left the store.

After viewing the surveillance video, employees were able to see the women stealing multiple items as she pretended to shop. Police estimate the theft included over $800.00 in merchandise.

The thief is described as a white female in her mid 30s to early 40s, weighing 130 pounds, wearing a black, long sleeve Victoria Secret sweatshirt with “Love Pink” on the back. She also wore jeans with a with a white belt and black sandals. Her hair is long and brown, with blonde streaks or highlights.

She left in a red or maroon Mercury Villager, with a white male driver. The van appears to have a broken window, with cardboard taped over the middle window on the passenger side.
