Crime Stoppers: Stolen Sun Glasses

BOWLING GREEN, KY (WBKO) - Bowling Green Police received a call from an eye care store in the 700 block of Campbell Lane, saying a man had stolen sun glass frames from their store.

Employees told police between 12:45 and 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, a man entered their store and pretended to shop. While walking around the store, the man held a cell phone to his ear and took sunglasses and prescription frames from the display rack, and concealed them in his clothing.

Employees totaled the theft at just over $2000.

The man is described as a black male, approximately 43 years old, 6’01” and 260 lbs. He was bald, and wore blue jeans and a blue shirt.
