Cumberland Trace Elem. Teacher Receives Award

A Warren County school teacher is awarded for "excellence in global education."

Cumberland Trace Elementary teacher, Patrice McCrary, has been named an NEA Foundation Pearson Foundation Global Learning Fellow.

McCrary is one of 32 award-winning public school teachers who will now get to tour China from June 19th to the 28th.

They will visit schools in Beijing and Shanghai to observe high-quality instruction and meet with Chinese teachers and administrators.

They will also learn the workplace skills their students will need to succeed in a global economy.
