BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- On, Wednesday, January 15th, 2014, around 2:00 A.M., the Warren County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a non-injury, hit-and-run collision.
The first collision occurred at the intersection of Veteran’s Memorial Rd and Barren River Rd.
The second collision involving the same vehicles occurred on Barren River Rd.
The vehicle that was hit was a 2003 Dodge driven by 32 year old Shana Dicken of Glasgow.
The run vehicle, a 1998 Saturn driven by 30 year old Shawn Rogers of Bowling Green, was located in the 2700 block of Bill Dedmon Road.
It was determined that Rogers was under the influence
of alcohol and narcotics.
Rogers was placed under arrest.
Rogers was lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail on the following charges:
Leaving the Scene of an Accident/Fail to Render Aid or Assistance; Failure to Produce Insurance Card; Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs, First Offense; and Wanton Endangerment First Degree.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
The collision remains under investigation.
