A certified DUI instructor has been charged with lying about public records.
40-year-old Timothy Monhollen of Lexington pleaded guilty to three counts of tampering with public records for falsifying entries in DUI program completion forms.
He was an instructor in Boyle, Fayette, Jessamine, Lincoln, and Mercer counties.
A Franklin Grand Jury indicted Manhollen in October of last year.
The plea agreement includes a two year sentence for each of the three counts.
Monhollen will be formally sentenced on November 16th.
