BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- The Warren County Family Court judgeship vacancy has been filled.
Official documents filed by the Secretary of State today confirm that attorney Dick Downey was chosen from among three nominees announced last week by the Judicial Nominating Commission led by Kentucky Chief Justice John D. Minton, Jr. from Bowling Green.
Downey served as an attorney with Kentucky Legal Aid from 2006 to 2012.

The vacancy was created by the passing of Warren County Family Court Judge Margaret Huddleston on January 3rd.
